It
is often said that a raging bull market can make any investor look
smart. But one of the more tragicomic
aspects of the '90s bull run has been how it's made so many highly
educated market watchers look pardon the expression!
dumb.
Many
started scrambling in disbelief when their valuation models began
to fail in the mid-1990s when they started spitting out Sell signals
just as stocks really began to take off. The best example of this
may be Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan who in 1996 put the
market in a temporary tailspin when he suggested in congressional
testimony that stocks were suffering a bout of "irrational
exuberance." Over the next two-and-a-half years, the S&P
500 grew over 80% as it charged to one new record after another.
The
lesson here is that stock valuation is almost always a moving target
so much so that even the most experienced investors can be
perplexed by it. There's little argument that the best way to predict
future movements in stocks is to assume that all things being
equal they'll pretty much do what they've done in the past.
But since all things rarely are equal, you can leave all hard-and-fast
formulas at the door.

"The
job of an analysis system is to predict market movement,
not to reflect."
|
|
Vector2000
incorporates an analysis system that is every much
as dynamic as the markets it tracks. We do not use
fixed formulas in establishing our Investment Tables
and related indicators - the formulas and indicators
that worked yesterday or last week expire with their
designated time frame. With the help of an innovative
analysis system based on Adaptive Algorithm Technology,
new indicator values and their weights (component
multipliers) are dynamically extracted and compiled
from both technical and fundamental analysis
of current market trends and valuations, while incorporating
other key elements such as Investor
sentiment.
 |
Combined with an ancillary system tracking and analyzing activity round-the-clock
on four major exchanges (NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX, TSX), and by utilizing advanced
dynamic filters to eliminate securities with inadequate activity and low
movement potential, the combined investment information, techniques, and tools
provided on this site may be some of the most powerful currently offered to the
individual online investor.

The Vulture
AAT analysis engine was commissioned by and
built for a group of private Investors, designed
to aid in their day-to-day trading and short term
investing. A version of this analysis system has
been made available through this website - the
Series 4e. This modified version uses the same
algorithms as the original private version, but
has been structured to include and focus on most
active securities within the North American markets
exclusively.
Targeting primarily high liquidity stocks, which in turn allows for rapid entry
and exit points, the average combined liquidity for securities listed in each
of our Intra-day Investment Tables (4 tables in total, 10 securities per table)
is in the proximity of $300M per table/day, for a total combined Intra-day
liquidity which is usually in excess of $1 billion for each AccessGroup level.
The
information generated on this web site is designed
to provide Traders with an opportunity to participate
actively in stock trading while helping reduce
the customary stress that can result from short term
market fluctuations, which in turn can lead to costly
mistakes.
